To help address the rise of diabetes cases, the National Diabetes Institute (NADI) of Malaysia organizes the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Series annually since 2002. In 2008, this CPD was expanded as 'Diabetes Asia' Conference to emphasize the uniqueness of diabetes presentation and management in Asians. This year, the conference is scheduled to be held from 6th - 9th Oct. 2016 at Hotel Istana, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
