The Diabetes Congress is an annual scientific conference from the Deutsche Diabetes Gesellschaft (DDG). Every year about 6,000 participants attend, most of whom are German speaking.

The aim of the congress is to give participants an overview of the scientific developments of the past few months and an outlook on future perspectives regarding the causes and development of diabetes mellitus as well as giving insight to health service research, prevention and treatment.
