Poverty, care giving, literacy, mental stress, pregnancy, menopause, gender bias all play a part. In this discussion lead by Dr. Usha Sriram we will discuss if living with diabetes is different for women compared to men. IDF Diabetes Complications and Foot Congress 2018 - Hyderabad, India, October 24-27 2018

IDF has launched a new series of live educational events to tackle the issues around diabetes complications. These biennial events will cover diabetes complications and highlight one specific complication at each event. The first in this series will focus on the diabetic foot. Find out more here.

Taking Diabetes to Heart

Please help IDF deliver the largest patient survey ever conducted in the area of diabetes-related CVD by promoting Taking Diabetes to Heart through your networks. The results of the survey will help generate global evidence and drive positive change for people living with diabetes. The Taking Diabetes to Heart survey is currently available in 22 languages and data collection is open until 31 March 2018.

The interim results of Taking Diabetes to Heart were presented at the IDF Congress 2017 and can be viewed here.
